Our Junior programs are for all ages and skill levels. See below which program is right for you.
BLASTERS
Blasters cricket is for kids aged 4.5 to 8 who are just learning the skills and rules of the game. The program is run on Friday nights from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Lysterfield Primary School (entry from gate next to Lakesfield Reserve). We put on a free BBQ for the kids after the session and families are invited to stay around and watch the game on the main oval. Sessions begin on Friday November 14 and run through until the end of February. The program costs $99 which includes a hat, personalised cricket top, cricket bat and a free membership to the Melbourne Stars or Renegades.
JUNIOR CRICKET
Super 7’s is for kids aged around 7 to 10 who are ready to move on to more structured, non competitive cricket. This is played in a T20 format (20 overs per side) where everyone gets to bat, bowl and field. Games go for around 2 hours and are on Wednesday evenings. The club has a kit with all equipment provided so kids are not required to purchase pads, bats etc unless they want to. Fast 9’s is for kids in their 2nd or 3rd year of junior cricket and is still modified but games are competitive. These are played in a T20 format (20 overs per side) where everyone gets to bat, bowl and field. Games go for 2 hours and are played on xx nights. Our Junior Program has teams in Under 12’s, 14’s, 16’s and 18’s.

SENIOR CRICKET
Our senior cricket program has four teams, 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI and the 4th XI.
VETS CRICKET
We have 3 teams competing in the Vets Competition. All players must be 40 years of age by the 1st of March in the current playing season.
Senior & Vets registration will open mid August.
